Emily Liu is a 13-year-old violinist and 8th grader from Fairfax, Virginia, whose musical journey reflects both talent and dedication. She began studying the violin at the age of seven with her grandfather, building upon a cherished family tradition and a shared love for the instrument.
Over the past six years, Emily has developed into a gifted young musician, earning multiple awards in local violin competitions. Her achievements are a testament to her passion, perseverance, and growing artistry.
Since 2024, Emily has continued her advanced studies under the guidance of Olga Khroulevitch, a distinguished violin pedagogue known for her mastery of the Russian School of violin technique and for mentoring many accomplished students in the United States. Under Ms. Khroulevitch’s direction, Emily continues to refine her technical and expressive skills, striving toward ever greater musical excellence.
