Alexandra Lynch discovered her passion for vocal arts at the age of six after performing Schubert’s Ave Maria as a remarkably precocious young singer. Over the past nine years, she has developed into a promising soprano with a focus on classical and musical theater repertoire. She has studied for seven years under the guidance of acclaimed soprano Claire Stadtmueller. Among Alexandra’s favorite composers to interpret are Schubert, Mozart, Handel, and Bernstein.
Alexandra has been recognized with numerous awards and distinctions. The Young Musicians Festival of the Schubert Club of Fairfield County awarded her five stars in both Classical and Musical Theater for three consecutive years, earning her the Gold Cup for consistent excellence. She has also received Honorable Mention for three years in the national Vocal Artists Management Young Vocalists Competition, being the youngest awardee in her first two years. Most recently, she was selected to perform in the Sound Espressivo/Progressive Musicians Gala Concert at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall.
Her 2024 summer training included the Vocal Choral Intensive at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee and Bel Canto’s Opera Program in Tuscany. Alexandra is passionate about sharing music as a source of joy and healing; she has recently given six solo recitals featuring classical and musical theater repertoire at local assisted living facilities, bringing live performance to audiences who might not otherwise have access.
In addition to her classical endeavors, Alexandra has performed leading roles in musical theater, including Annie in Annie and Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. Her artistic development has also been shaped by her participation in multiple programs led by Broadway star Donna Vivino.
Beyond her musical achievements, Alexandra is a tenth-grade student at Rye Country Day School, where she is a straight-A student, a three-sport varsity athlete, and a member of the Honors Choir.
